Received October 2, 8.35 a.m. LONDON, October I. Sixteen balloons, representing seven natious, started froir Paris on Sunday to compete in tbe GordonBennett Cup. Several are now over England. Received October 2, 9.35 p.m., LONDON, October2. An American balloon, which alighted near Whitby, won tbb Gor-don-Bennett Cup. Received October 2, 11.44 p.ru. PARIS, October 2. Nine balloons descended in France.
