Moving picture entertainments were never so popular as at the present time, and one reason for this popularity is the acme ot perfection achieved in the reproducing of the films. The steadiness with which the pictures are thrown upon the sareeu make it a pleasure to watch them, inHtead of one's eyes being strained by the constant flicker as in bygone days. "The World's Piotareß," which are to be shown in tho Masterton Town Hall, commencing on Thursday, Ootober 4tb next, promise a selection which should not fail to please. The representative of the management in America has picked out films which include a comprehensive tour of the world, and the latest in coloured motion pictures, of which a feature is made iu the entertainment, besides many startlingly dra<tnatio chase pictures. In Mi Edwin Brookes the Company has a singer who comes with flattering notices from the press. Popular prices are to be charged. The box plan will open on Tuesday morning at Miss Rive's.
