A.J.O. MEETING. Received September 29, 6.12 p.m. RANDWICK COURSE, Sept. 29. ■ The following are the results of today's raoes:--Hurdles.—Hydrant 1, Satinvador 2, lllawarra 3. There were ten starters. From a good start lllawarra made the running. Passing Oxenham's Hydrant moved up to third place, jumping well. In the straight l Hydrant, on the outside, commenced a struggle with Satinvador, beating him by a head. Time, 4min 26880. Trial Stakes.—Deutsoher 1, Artful 2, Gosoon 3. Derby.—Poseidon 1, Collarit 2, Antonious 3. Also started.—Quasoar, Solaire and Banzai. From an •excellent start Collarit was first to show In front, tut Huasoar was on terms with the leader at ihe stand, and led on 1; of the straight. Approaching Kensington CollariS dashed away, and at the half-mile had an advantage of five lengths •over Hnascar. At the distance Poseidon drew level with Collarit and In the run home increased the lead, winning by three lengths, the same " distance separating second and third. Huasoar finished last. Time, 2inin 38aeo. Epsom Handicap.—Maximize 1, Famous 2, Lord Fitzroy 3. All the acceptors except Piccadilly and Orline started. Maximize was first away. Entering the straight Famous, Maximize, Lord Fitzroy and Stuart were together. At the distance Maximize came away, winning by three lengths. Time, lmin 39% sec. Spring Stakes.—Ladv Wallace 1, Isolt 2, Dividend 3. Also started— Porcelain, Emir and Marvel Loeb. Dividend and Emir were first away, jbut Porcelain led at the stand. At the half-mile there was a length between Porcelain and Dividend; Porcelain led in the straight, with Lady Wallace fourth. Lady Wallace made a fine run on the outaide, and romped home four lengths ahead; three lengths between second and third. Porcelain was, fifth. Time, 2min 35sec. Kensington Handicap.—Castaway 1, Arlington 2, Lady Brooleigh 3. Received September 30, 5.16 p.m. SYDNEY, September 30. Therfl was no reading of the Metropolitan Handicap card yesterday, but « good amount of business was done, resulting in several changes in prices. Solution firmly kept the place of favourite, the Derby winner advancing to second place. The closing prices were:—Five to two Solution, nine to one Poseidon, ten to one Bairn and Proceed, fourteen to one Moreen and Oab Grafton, sixteen to one Famous and Rosemead, twenty to one Merveil, twenty-five to one Scot .Free and Lord Fitzroy. •RACING IN ENGLAND.
