THE WEST RA LI AN RESOLUTION. Reoeived September 28, 11.28 p.m. LONDON, September 28. The Morning Post says that the resolution of the Government of Western Australia favouring withdrawal from the Commonwealth is more in the nature of a grumble than a serious expression of intention. Mr W. H. James, Agent-General for Western Australia, in an interview, stated that he attaohed little importance to the resolution, whioh did not represent tbe view of the majority of the electors. Mr Deakin attributes tbe secession resolutions carried in the West Australian Assembly to tbe Senate's action in rejecting the Transcontinental Railway Survey Bill.
