Two hundred people have been arrested Id a haphazard fashion at Siedlce, the scene of the recent ghastly massacre. The prisoners are to be tried before a courtmartial composed of officers implicated in the massacre.

Representatives of the British Jews appeal for the prevention of the terrible oritno. The Socialists at Odessa have issued a proclamation setting forth their intenion to kill three officials for every patriot executed by a dramhead court-martial. The Czar's abandonment of his intention to shorten bis cruise, in order to attend tbe funeral of the late JJGeneral Trepoff, is interpreted as connected with fears of an attempt oa his life.

SEVENTEEN SAILORS SHOT. Received September 19, 11.9 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, Sept. 19. Seventeen sailors who had been sectenced in connection with the Sveaborg mutiny were shot yesterday. .tSighty others have been sentenced to penal servitude and service with' disciplinary battalions. Eleven have been acquitted.
