BAZAAR AND EXHIBITION.

The Bazaar and Exhibition, in ai-3 ] of the funds of tbe Volunteers, Pire Brigade and Band, waa continued on Saturday evening, and from a financial point of view it was a very suooessful night, over £llO being taken altogether. Good business was transacted at each of the stalls, and most of the large raffles weie drawn. The side shows, especially the "Enchanted Swing," were well patronised. The dancing of Mrs Connop's pupils was very much appreciated and loudly applauded. Many of the items were recalled twice. A torchlight procession will leave the corner of Hall and Chapel Streets, and will proceed via Chapel, Kenall. Queea and Hall Streets to the Drill Hall. The Carterton 'and Eketahuua Bands have been invited to bo present. There will be a double programme of dancing this evening. All persons holding books of tickets of the art uoira are requested to hand them in at once, as the art union., will be drawn as soon as possible.
