The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd , report as follows regarding the clearing sale of Mr £l. N. Fowler's dairy herd, etc., at the Taratahi yards, yesterday—The cattle yarded were in fair condition, and elicited pond competition under the hammer, a ve«'y satisfactory clearance being effected. Cows coming to proQt early were well competed for, realizing from £6 2s Gd to £4 13a, later calcers bringing £5 10a to £3 ss. In outside entries we penned some good quality in heifers, selling at £5 2s, £1 18s 6d and £4 15?, a good line at £4 14s 6d, otnors down to £1 and £3 17s Gd.
