Sir,—Can nothins be done to remedy the inconvenience that at present exists in getting from one part of* Masterton to another. Throughout the length of thi-J town there run three fine streets—Queen Street, Chapel Street and Dixon Street. But there is almost a deplorable lack of cross streets. Between Mason's corner and the street by the Presbyterian Church, for example, there in not a single cross street connecting the three arterial streets. Truly (.here is a lane into Dixon street from Queen Street, and the convenience this affords should let thinking people see the advantage of cronswayp.—l am, etc., MUNICIPALITY.
