TINUI NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondent). Monday. The Glee Club hold the first of a series of concerts on Saturday evening. The Town Hall was orowded, and every item was well received. Misa King (Giaborae) was the "star" of the evening. Her sweet soprano voice was a treat to listen to. The members of the Glee Club, Mesdames Sutton and Hancock, Misses Langdon (2), Terry, King, MoEenzie, Messrs Sutton, Chambers and Dr. Hunter all sang their parts well. The following was the programme—Overture, pianoforte duet, Mrs and Misa Sutton; glees, (1) "The Village Chorister," (2) "0, Who Will o'er the Downs," Glee Party; song, "Out on the Deep," Mr Chambers; "Sing Me to Sleep," Miss King; recitation, Mr Oliver; solo and chorus, "Hunting Song," Dr. Hunter and Party; song, "'fhe Arab's Farewell," Mr Chong; duet, "lu the Dusk of the Twilight,'' Mrs Hancock and Miss King; glee, "The Oamivale," Glee Party; pianofortefgaolo, "Orazione " Miss Langdon; song "Whisperand I Shall Hear," Misa King; two-part song, "Like the Lark," glees (1) ; "The Dawn of Day," (2) "The Chafers," Glee Party; reoitation, "Miss Daisy Helps Things Along," Misa Sutton; song "Automatio Gas," Mr Chong; song, "Down the Vale," Mr Chambers: glees, (1) "Those Evening Bells," (2) "We'll Trip It," Glee Party. The accompaniments were played by Miss Sutton. During a scratch football match last Saturday, W. M. Dunn fractured bis collarbone through colliding with another player. Great prepprations are being made for the fancy dress hunt next Saturday.
