Shrapnel defeated Cavalry and Waikato over a mile, which was traversed in lmin 50 4-sseo. Tirole beat Rongo over a mile and a qaarter. Makaroff ran seven furlongs comfortably in lmin 35sec. Swimmer was too good for Renana at the end of a mile and a quarter, run in 2min 20seo a oreditable performance. Kremlin covered the last mile of a mile and a quarter in lmin 52seo finishing strongly. Nadador jumped the post and rails and double, and then appeared to have Kaitere beaten at the end of once round in 2min 56 1 sseo. Pipi went a mile and a half, the last mile tatting lmin 59sec.
