SWINE FEVER.

SUPPOSED CASE NEAR GORE. By Telegraph—Press Association. GORE, August 6. A case supposed to be swine fever baß occurred on a farm near Gore. Of 26 store pigs purchased at auction a week ago two have developed symptoms coinciding with swine fever, and died on Saturday. Mr Kerrigan, the Government vet., arrived to-day, to investigate. He says that the colony was recently declared free of fever, and he will be much surprised if it has again broken out'.
