In tbe Assembly, to day, the Hod. J. H. Carrutbors, Premier, without comment, moved the suspension of Mr W. P. Crick.
A long discussion followed, result ing in the motion being carried by an overwhelming majority. Mr Crick refused to leave tbe Ohambe-, and was removed by the Sergeaut-at-Arojß. Mr Crick stated that he would tase steps to assert his rights legally.
ABOLITION OF STATE GOVERNOR. Received July 25, 12.43 a.m. SYDNEY, July 24. Mr Griffiths has giveo notice of motion to move in the Assembly that the office of State Governor be abolished, a 1 d that the duties be conferred on the Chief Justice.
ALLEGED FALSE RACING INFORMATION.
Received July 24, 10.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, July 24. Lobb, a telegraph messenger has been arrested in connection with the telephoning from Flemington of false racing information to certain bookmakers in Melbourne. A warrant has neen issued for the arrest of an ex-employee in the Postal Department ou the same matter.

The Rev. Mr Worrall, in a sermon delivered at Bendigo, denounced the Hon. Sir Samuel Gillott, Chief Secretary of Victoria, in connection with the recent gambling tragedies, and impeached him "with blood flowing from the wounds of gamblers." It was nonsenoe, the speaker said, for Sir Samuel Gillott to pretend that he was powerless to scop the soourge.JJwhich wasjcreafcing a very Gethsemane of woe and trouble.
MR BENT'S THREAT.
THE FLEMINGTON HORROR

Mr Bent, the Viotorian Premier, states that he will arrest the Rev. Worrall if possible, adding "I will straighten him up." Mr Worrall, in the course of an interview, stated that the recent tragedy at Plemington would never have ooourred if the authorities had exeroised the power the law gave them. Several further arrests have been made in connection with the death of the man MoLeod, wno was kioked to death on the Flemington racecourse. The murdered man's mother hat* gone insane from the shook, and is an asylum.
