The Taba Branding Liquid now being introduced into tho Wairarapa dis'riot should command the attention of farmers, us it is a branding liquid that baa stood the tost of time and given satisfaction wherever fried. Yesterday, a representative of the Wairarapa Age was present at Abraham and Williams' saleyards when he was shown by Mr Young, of Messrs Young and Lowes, paten tees of tbo Taba branding liquid, several of Mr F. 0. Lewis' cattle, which had been branded a tew hours previously, and will bo exhibited at the saleyards, to-morrow, when a demonstration will," also, be given by the patentees of the efficacy of then- liquid to do all that they claim for it. The cattle referred to had been branded in the open during yeatorday's rain, and the brand showed out very dearly indeed, notwithstanding the obvious disadvantage arising through the state of the weather when the brand was done. The liquid is applied with an ordinary sheep brand, and no preliminary dipping of the bnir is necessary. It is claimed for the brand that it is not only painless and economical, but permanent as well. The contents of a pound tin cf the liquid are sufflcent for branding over 100 bead of cattle. The W.F.O.A. have oeen appointed local agents.
