A Stratford telegram states that the third sale of thei series of the Taranaki hide and skin sales was held yesterday. There was a good competition. The oatalogue included 2,000 hides, 1,300 sheepskius, 20 bales of orutohinga and 18 casks of tallow. Prime ex and cowhides sold from 5d to and up *o 5, l /£d, calf and yearling up to Tallow sold from 20s 6d to 22s 3d*.
