The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agenoy Co,, Ltd., report at their clearing sale of stock aad implements on account of Mr J. lorns, at Opaki, yesterday:—A good attendance. The fact of the list being unreserved and of good quality we had no difficulty in quitting the catalogue at sound rates. The sale opened with a line of 310 ewes in lamb, which brought 18s 9d, other ewes 14s 6d, empty ewes 12a, culls 6s 6d, lambs lis to 13s, 2% year steers £3 10s, forward cows 70s, cows and calves 60s, young heifers 31s to 40s, draught mares £32 to £35, geldings £lO to £2l, draught foals £l4 to £2O. Drays, machinery, harness and aundries made satisfactory prices.
