This was iu the Southampton store, and au application of the chemical lor a few hours only by vaporising quite killed the mould, and the moat was ultimately sold, after sixty days from billing, at ordinary Plate chilled values. The meat was kept for 21 daya iu store at about .32 degrees. Mr Linley's wish was to experiment with a cargo aud to prevent rather than cure, but the Buooess of Lhe application referred to is notable.
