INCREASING MORE RAPIDLY THAN BRITISH TRADE.

Received July 10, 9.45 p.m. LONDON, July 10. At the annual meeting of the British Empire League, the Han. J. G. Jenkins, Agent-General for South Australia, emphasized the faot that the foreign trade with Australia was increasing more rapi ily than British trade, though the Australian colonies would sooner trade with the British than outside nations. The League unanimously tendered its heartiest congratulations to Mr J. Chain berlaio, on reaching his seventieth birthday.
