NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Masterton Borough Council, held on on tne 26th day of June, 1906, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the Mqsterton Borough Counoil make a By-law under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, the object and purport of which Bylaw are as follows: BUILDING BY-LAW, 1906. 1. Interpretation Clauses: Regulations for: 2 to 6, deposit of plane, commencement cf work, details; 7 to 8, permits removal and re-erection of buildings; 9 to 11, setting back building line, huildings damaged by fire, sub-division of buildings; 1213, situation ot w c;'s and privies, introduction of water and other pipes, etc.; 14, carting materials, making good damage to footpaths; 15, erection of scaffolding, permits for; 16, scale of fees, to be paid when application lodged; 17, permits to be in writing; 18, work not to be commenced or continued, without proper notice or Engineer's certificate; 19, deviation from plans; 20, site of buildings; 21, arcnitectural embellishments; 22, external and party waliß, and fronts of hotels, public buildings and business premises, parapets, distances and materials to be used, thickness of walls, prescribing use of hoop iron of galvanised iron wire in brick and concrete walls, hollow brick walls, lead covering templates, corheiling. The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation to a speoial meeting of the Masterton Borough Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street, on the 25th day of July, 1906, at 7.30 p.m, at which meeting the day of the coming into force of the By-law will bo fixed. A copy ot the proposed Speoial Order and By-law ia deposited at the Counoil Chambers, Chanel Street, where the same will be open for public inspeetiou during ofiice hours until the said confirming meeting is held. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton Borough Council, being a "Registering Authority" within the meaning of "The Motor Registration Act, 1905," has decided, by resolution, that the said Act shall be brought into force in the district of the said Registering Authority.
