In the preliminary heats for the Diamond Sculls, Bourke, of Tasmania, beat Guy Rixon, and Roy Adam, of Melbourne, defeated West, of Philadelphia. Reoeived July 4, 10.55 p.m. LONDON, July 4. Further heats for the Diamond Soulls resulted—K. T. Blackstaffe (Visita Rowing Club) beat Harrison Bourke; D. O. Stuart (Trinity Hall) defeated Roy Adam.
