•THE NATIVE DISTURBANCE. Received June 29, 8.31 a.m. I'IETERM ARITZBURG, Jbne 28. A strong force advanced to attaok the rebel positions near Mapumulo, where it is reported that two hundred natives are located. The rebels charged on two sides within fifty yards, but when the Maxim guns opened fire the rebels broke and dispersed. -Later another impi of a thousand men tried a flank attack, but shells dispersed them. SIGANANDA FOUND GUILTY, GENERAL EXODUS OF NATIVES. Received June 30, 1.10 a.m. PIETERMARITZBURG, June 29. The rebel chief Sigauanda has been found guilty. There is a general exodus of natives from Durban on pretext of pfoteoting women and cattle at Umginto, Mapamulo, Lowe and Uuvalose.
