FIRE ON THE RIMUTAKA.
LARUE QUANTITY OP WOOL] DAMAGED. Received June 28, 8.32 a.m. LONDON, June 27. Although tbe officers of the steamer Rimutaka, on which the fire occurred, wished to rely on the Clayton machine to extinguish the fire, toe police sent the fire brigade, which deluged the cargo, damaging a large quanity of wool.
