RAILWAY DISASTER AVERTED.
Received June 15 8 30 a.m. PARIS, June 15. The Brindisi express train with the Indian mails and Tinny English passengers, through a pointsman's mistake 'was transferred to the wrong line hat a signalman stopped the train narrowly averting a collision with a passenger train in a tunnel olose to the Franoo-italian frontier.
