FOOTBALL.
BUSH RUGBY UNION. The team to represent Nireaha against Hukanui, at Hukanui, on Saturday, will be picked from the following:— T. Robertson, Ken-, nedy, Watkin, Joubb, Newcombe, Qoinlan Bros., J. Robertson, MoDonald, Mears, Gardiner, MoOnie, Mitchell, Jackson, Ginnane Bros., bunnex. Nireaha, who were d«feat ed by Hamua, last Saturday, have entered a protest on the grounds that the Hamua team played an unregistered player.
PLAYERS DISQUALIFIED.
By Telegraph—Press Association. OHRISTOHURCH, June 13. At the Canterbury Rugby Union's meeting heavy disqualifications were inflicted for rough play in connection with the Kaiapoi matoh on May 12th. Barnes wbs disqualified for life, and Wilson for five years, Temrdeton (a member of the Selection Committee) till December 31st next, and members of the Management and Selection Committees were debarred from holding office in clubs under the union until December 31st, 1907. Two other players were disqualified, Henry till December 31st next, and Haines for three years.
