Potatoes, prime Australian, £ll per ton.- Onions, £7 to £8 per ton.' Butter, separator milled, 9d; dairy pats, 9}* d per lb. Ecgs, fresh la 9d per dozen; preserved Is 2d. WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALE
The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-oper-ative Association, Ltd., in conjunction with Dalgefcy and Co., Ltd., held their wool, skin and hide sale, at Masterton, on Wednesday. There was a large attendance of buyers, and prices were well maintained. They offered 70 bales of wool, 1,500 sheepskins and 180 hides. Prices realised were.— Wool: Crossbred fleece 9d to 10J4d, Rood crutohings--8&d to B%d, medium 7}£d to Bd, inferior crutohings to 6d, pieces 6d to Bd, locks 5d to lambs wool 10}£d. Sheepskins: Good crossbred to lOd, shprt wools to lambs 9d to green crossbred 7s to Bs, green lambs 4s to 5s Bd, pelts la 6d to 2s 9d. Hides: Ox, medium 23s to 265, cat and slippy 15s to 18s, cow, medium 18s to 235, Blippy 10s to 17s, calf and yearlings Is 6d to 7s 6d. Horse hah: Is 6d. The next sale will be held on July 18th.
