Received May 23,|[8.30 a.m. LONDON, May 22. The steamer Oak burn, which left New York for Sydney, on April 18th, waatotally wrecked off Duikerpoint, Cape Colony. A VALUABLE CARGO. HUAVY INSURANCES. Received May 24, 1.45 a.m. ■*-■ " MELBOURNE, May 23. The loss of the Oakburn caused some exoitement in insurance oirules here. The local agents of the vessel state that she carried a cargo amounting to about 8,000 tons, and valued at £200,000. , Included in the cargo was 1,000 tons of rails for the Victorian Government. Most of the Australasian insurance companies bold lines on the cargo ranging from £5,000 to £20,000.
