ACCipENTAL DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association. HASTINGS, May 16. At the inquest, held to-day, concerning the deatn of Richard Christy Dolbel, aged 41 years, who met his death through his horse falling on the bard road, a verdict was returned that death was accidentally caused by falling from a horse. POTATO BLIGHT. uISBORNE, May 16. The potato blight has destroyed more than three quarters of the potato crops in this district, causing much distress among a certain portion of the natives. STEALING JEWELLEKY. WELLINGTON, May 16. Samuel McShane, who was brought jbaok from England on a charge of stealing a quantity of jewellery from a pawnbroker's eh op at Wellington, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
