CHENNELLS has received instructions from Mr Robert Campbell to offer by public auction, as above, his well-known farm on the Opaki, consisting of 380 acres (more or less), together with all buildings and erections thereon. The property is situated only 8i miles from Masterton, on a good metalled road, and includes about 140 acres of the richest river flats in the county. From these flats crops of oats have been taken averaging 60 , bushels to the acre, wheat 40 bushels, and potatoes up to 16 tons. The property has been farmed by. Mr Campbell for over thirty years with excellent results, and for several seasons'past he has miked a herd of between 30 and 40 cows, supplying the Masterton Butter Factory.
