St Albert and Gladsmuir left the same distance behind in slower time. Ellerton did not gallop very pleasingly over six furlongs. Kaipetipeii, Cinque and Montijo were companions once round, finishing in that order. There was a good gallop between Rose Madder, Polyanthus and Operetta, six furlongs being covered in lmin 20seo, the trio finishing in the order named. Miss Adeline galloped four furlongs in 52seo. Grand Slam finished in front of Loftus and Lady Nell over six furlongs in lmin 6seo, but Loftus bad plenty in hand. Solution covered five furlongs in quick time.
