(From Oar Own Correspondent). EKETAHUNa, Wednesday. K start has been made to connect the shops in the main street with the drainage. The looal Amateur Dramatio Club intend to give an entertainment at JHnkanui, on Thursday night, when "Withered Leaves" aud "Box and Cox" will be staged. The proceeds of the entertainment are to go towards purchasing a piano. Mr Eobt. Seymour, proprietor of the Eketahuna Hotel, has donated a trophy, valued af £1 Is, for the best all-round player in the Kia Ora Football Club. It is probable that a match, will be played, on Thursday, between the Hatuua and EketahuDa football teams.
