AN OFFICER SENTENCED. Received May 1, 9.24 a.m. SI. PETERSBURG, April 30. Colonel Ermolov has been' sen tenced to four years with the disciplinary battalions. He admitted shooting Dr Vorob ev, at Moscow, in the presence of his wife and children, on tbe ground that he was a revolutionary,' and deserved a dog's death. FATHER GAPON. REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN MURDERED. BY RUSSAN REGRET POLICE.
Received May 1, 11.35 p.m. ST. PETERSBURG, May 1. Father Gapon's papers, showing a large deposit in the bank, have been sent to his lawyer. Revc.lutiouaries declare that the Russian secret police murdered Father Gapon, in order to prevent the divulging of secrets implicating high officials.
