MASTERTON GYMNASIUM.
A well attended meeting of the committee of the Masterton Gymnasium and Physical Training School was held last evening in Meßsrs Gawith and Logan's offioe. Mr W. G. JBeard occupied the chair. After fully discussing the affairs of the Gymnasium it was decided to start the season on Mr OewisH has been re-engaged as {.'instructor, and from reports from various members of the committee a large increase of membership is expected in all classes this year. ' The class, which the Club was unable to run last year, will be carried on this term. This is the most importaut class in the school consisting as it does of boys who have just left sohool. The small hoys and small girls classes are unaltered this yoar. The maids class of last year will be run in connection witn the ladies class, and should form a very strong combination.
There is a probability this year of an extra class being formed for ladies in the afternoons, when light oxeicises not necessitating Bpeoial uniform ivili be given by the instructor.
