RACING.
SOUTH WAIRARAPA CHARit£BLE TROTTING CLUB. The annual race meeting, under the auspiceß of the South Wairarapa Charitable Trottint! Club, will be held on Monday, 4th Juno (Prince of Walos Birthday), when £250 will bo allotted to the seven events on the programme. Tho principal events of the day are tho Grey town Trotting Club Handicap, of 75 sovs, and the Tamabau Mahupuku Memorial Handicap, of 45 aovs. There aro also three events of 30 sovs each and two of 20 sovs each. Nominations for all handicaps close with the Secretary, Mr W. Armstrong, Greytown North, at 9 p.m., on Thursday, May 10th.
