SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
ANNUAL ELECTIONS. DREYER'S ROCK. The following wereeleoted a Committee for the Dreyer's Rook School:—Messrs G. F. Day, Chairman (re-elected), J. E. Perry, Walter Budd, Robert Dawson, S. F. Wilton. MAURICEVILLE. The annual election of the School Committee took place on Monday. There was a fair number of householders present. As eight candidates sought election, the voting resulted in the return of—Messrs Dryden, R. Brooks, C. Brooks, H. Rowell, F. J. Fisher, J. Mutrie, and M. Maokenize. Mr R. Brooks was reelected as chairman of the Committee. Before the election of a new Committee was proceeded with, the Seoretary of the outgoing Committee read the balance-sheet, showing a credit balance of £6 17s 6d. The report stated that there was an increase of about 300 books in the Sohool Libraiy. BIDEFORD. At the housholders meeting, on Monday evening the old Committee viz., Messrs J. W. Carswell (Chairman, Seoretary and Treasurer), W. J. Peroy, G. Twinu, J. Peroy M. MnGovern were re-elected. KAITUNA. i The following Committee was elected at the meeting of the householders on Monday evening Messrs R. Kibblewhite (chairman), J. G. Dagg, Ben. Rayner, C. Kingston, and J. Talforth. KOPUARANGA. A meeting of householders was held in the schoolroom, on Monday, for the purpose of electing a new Sohool Committee. The following were elected:-—Messrs J. Donovan, G. Bruce, J. Cottle, R. McKenzie, W. Diamond, C. Rowe, and Chas. Jackson (chairman).
