MASTERTON TRUST LANDS TRUST.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Trustees of the Maaterton Trust Lands Trust was held last evening. There w«re present—Messrs 0. E. Daniell (in the ohair), J. A. Renall, J. Hessey, and E. Feist. The Treasurer reported as follows: —Dr balance as per bank book, £293 lGs 7d; or balance at deposit in bank, £798 Oa sd. Accounts amounting to £IOO 2s 9d were passed for payment. Scholarship grants to M. O'Leary, «J. Tait, and E. Morrison, amounting to £2O, were passed for payment. A letter was received from the Education Board asking for the payment of the grant of £l5O, which had been promised by the Trustees for the equipment of the Secoadary Department of the Masterton District High School. The amount was passed for payment. The Secretary of tho Eketabuna Chamber of Commerce wrote asking for information about the formation of the Trust Lands Trust in Masterton, as it was proposed to embody the various reserves around Eketahuna in Trustees. The Secretary reported that he had supplied the necessary information.
