COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE.

ORDINARY MEETING. The ordinary meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise, A.Q.F., was held in the Foresters' iblall, last evening, Bro. F. Fear, 0.K., presiding. A letter was received from a member residing at Bradford-on-Avon, in England, forwarding medical certificate, showing that he bad not yet recovered from an operation he had recently undergone. The Secretary of Court Kopuaranga wrote forwarding an invitation to a banquet to be held in the Foresters' Hall, Mauriceville, on April 21st. A member residing at Cross' Creek wrote asking that his name should be taken off the doctors' list at Masterton, so as to enable? him to get his name Dlaced on the doctors' list at Featherston. Bro. D. H. Godfrey, Piaton, I wrote forwarding contributions. A petition was received from the Court at Tenui, asking for assistance for a member in distress. It was | decided to vote the sum of 2gns. The Secretary, of the Wellington United Friendly Societies Council wrote stating that the Masterton Friendly Societies Council oouid not send a representative to the conference, to bB held in Wellington, on May 21st, as it had been decided that- no Council formed after January 10th, 1906, oould be represented. Several members spoke very strongly as to the injustice which was being done, as it had been stated in the press of the colony that Cabinet had agreed to Day the expenses of the delegates attending the conference, whioh meant that the taxpayers bad to bear the burden. It was therefore unanimously resolved: "That the Wellington United Friendly Sooieties Council should again be asked to allow the Masterton Friendly Societies Counoil to send a representative to the conference, and if this request is refused, that the whole matter should then be placed before the Premier of the colony," to show that the ooaferenoe would not be a representative one."
