MASTERI'ON ASSOCIATION. SENIOR. CUP. CARLTON A v. W.F.C.A. Tbe final match'in the Masterton Cricket Association's Senior Championship Competition, between the Carlton A and W.F.C.A. teams, was concluded 011 the Park Oval, yesterday afternoon, and resulted ia a win for Carlton by 93 runs. On the previous Thursday each team bad completed an innings, Carlton making 64 and W.F.C.A. 18. The former team commenoed their second innings badly, Marsn, Laevey and O'Leary being out with only 17 runs on the board. Congdon and Waters added twelve to the score before the former seas caught out. F. Welch and Waters added 26 runs to the score, and Prow and F. Welch 31 runs. The rest of tho team did not make many runs, and the innincs closed for 109. Requ'riug 156 to win, the W.F.C.A. only made 62, Palmer 17, Parton 11, and R. Welch and Hall 10 each, contributes moßt of the runs. Carlton have thus won tbe charripiouship for tbe season. Tbe fallowing were the scores: — CARLTON A. First Innings 64 Second innings.
