CHINESE ON THE RAND. BRITISH WORKMEN APPEALED TO. Received April 4, 7.37 a.m. CAPETOWN, April 3. Merohants at Johannesburg have issued an appeal to British workmen to induce the Government not to interfere with the Chinese, upon whose retention the prosperity of the Rand largely depends.
