The Masterton portion of the Outward mail is made up on Wednesday Afternoon prior to the Wellington sailing date, and a supplementary mail is despatched, closing it 5.30 a.m. on Thursday following, connecting with the steamer at New Plymouth. The Inward m*il is due at Masterton by the 10.0 p m. on the same 'late as at Wellington.
