LONDON MARKET CABLES.
Dalgefcy and Corppany, Ltd., Wei- I lingfcon, have received the following oable advices from , their London office, dated the 22nd' instant:— Frozen meat: A moderate business doing but prices are unaltered. Butter: Market weak, and Copenhagen official quotation unohanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week end- i ing the 17th instant, amounted to 78,000 owt., as compared with 59,000 for the corresponding period of the previous year. More demand for unaalted than salted. Tallow: Good to prime mutton tallow, higher by 3d to 6d per owt.; other descriptions higher by 6d per owt. SbeepsKias: Clothing, prices are higher by %d per lb ; combing, higher by %d to Id per lb; lambs, higher by %d; shorn pelts, unchanged. Wool sales closed firm; as compared with dosing rates of last eerie J, super merino wools are higher by 1% to 5 per cent-; other deorptions of merino wool 1% to 10 per cent, higher; heavy wooie excepted, whioh are irregular, but prioes are on the average at par to 5 percent, higher; crossbred wools, prioes are on a par with the highest point of these sales; fine crossbred wools, higher by 10 per cent.; medium and coarse crossbred wools, 10 to 15 per cent, higher, and sometimes more. Out of the net quantity available for sale some 68,000 bales have been sold for Home consumption, 45,000 bales for the Continent, 11,000 bales for America, leaving 7,000 bales ts be carried forward to the next series, of which 6,000 were not offered for sale.
