LONDON WOOL SALES. By Telegraph—Press Association, WELLINGTON, Maroh 26. Messrs Dulgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable from their London office:—The wool sales closed firm, as compared with closing rates of last series. Super merino wools are higher by to 5 per cent., other descriptions of merino wool iy 2 to 10 per cent, higher, heavy wools excepted, which are irregular, but prices are on the average at par to 5 per cent, higher. Prices for crossbred wools are on a par with the highest point of these sales; fine crossbred wools 10 to 15 per cent, higher, and sometimes more out of the net quantity are available for sale. Some 68,000 bales have been sold for Home consumption, 45,000 bales for the Continent, and 11,000 bales for America, leaving 7,000 bales to be carried forward to the next series, of which 6,000 were not offered for sale this series.
