NEW PLYMOUTH LAND VALUES.
CONSIDERED TOO HIGH. NEW PLYMOUTH, March 23. At a publio meeting, attended by a large number of influential property owners, a resolution was carried, "that in the opinipn of this meeting the valuation of properties in New Plymouth is too high, and exoeed the real market value, and that valuation is evidently based upon false values existing during the land and property boom," copies of tho resolution-to be—forwarded to the Premier and Valuer-General. A committee was appointed to obtain signatures to a monster petition, and to organise objections at the forthcoming court.
