NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION.

(To the Editor), Sir,— Replying to your correspondent "Enquirpr," on the 9th February I received the following telesram from the Secretary of the Exhibition, "Can 1 refer to you in Home Industries schedule stating that you will give information and supply schedules and generally act in the interest of the Exhibition in that respect. Trusting that you will allow your name to be inserted and anticipating full name and address," to which I at once replied by wire, "Yes," with pleasure," giving full name and addroes, and also con- } firmed this by letter. On February 16th I received a letter dated 14th ultimo from the Secretary stating "that he was instructed by the Chairman of the Home Industries Committee to state that your name has just been forwarded as having undertaken to set up a small committee to co-operate with the Home Industries Committee, and asking for the names, if not of all the committee, at least of the Chairman and Secretary. The draft of tie prooosed schedule is ready for the printer?, and only awaits the names and official address of the various local committees. As soon as it is printed a supply of copies will be sent you, etc,etc." This letter was placed, with the previous correspondence, before my Chamber at its meeting on the day of receipt, and a committee set up, and the names and addresses, including my own (for the third time), advised by letter immediately after the meeting. On the 2nd inat. (March) I received the following telegram from the Secretary, who bad signed all the previous telegrams ard letters: "Please wire your full address for insertion on the Home Industries schedule," to which I at onoe replied by wire, "Queen Street, Masterton, vide my letter 9th ultimo." Now, Sir. lam still waiting, on the 19th of March, for the schedules promised on the 14th of February, and I have no doubt your readers will understand that, however anxious the members of this Chamber may be to i assist the Exhibition, they cannoVdo so without the necessary data.—l am, etc., J.
