EGG-LAYING.
UTILITY POULTRY OLUB. CHRISTOHURGH, March 19. The statement for the forty-sixth week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Glut's Egg-laying Competition, at Lincoln College, ahows that 407 eggs were laid during the week, making a total to date of 29,009. The best totals for the week were:— 0. Petersen's Blaok Orpingtons, 22; A. GapeVßlack Langshans, 21; H. Hawke's "Silver Wyandottes, 19. The highest: totals to date are H. Hawke's Silver Wyandottes, 1,163; J. H. Shaw's Brown Leghorns, 993; J. Manu's White Wyandottes, 973.
