The German census taken on December Ist of last year showed the population to.be as follows: Males ... 29,868,096 Females ... 30,073,087 Total ... 59,941,183 (The census of 1900 showed a population of 56,367,178, of whom 27,737,247 were males and 28,629,931 females. This means an inorease of over three million five hundred thousand in five years).
