K. G. Deans, amember of the New Zealand football team, informed a Christcburoh paper that the teara played three games in the United States, while tno cable messages mentioned but two. The third game was played in San Francisco, and was a return match against the British Columbia team. Played on a dry ground, it resulted in a very decisive wiu for the New by 65 to 6. ALBION FOOTBALL CLUB. A meeting of the members of the Third-Class team of the Albion Football Club, was held in the Empire Hotel, last evening. Mr Miller (Captain) presided over 21 members. The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows: Caniain, Mr Av, Miller -(re-elected): Vice-Captain, Mr D. Diggins. The following new members were elected: —Messrs G. Kees, J. Johnson, W. White, A. Young. Mr Miller, Captain, has kindiy donated a silver medal for the be3t all round player, also, a cap to the member who scores che first points. Mr T. Flaws was re-eleotedaa coach for the ensuing season, and was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for past services, Mr Flaws haskioJly donated a alive* medal for the beat forward. A sllfer medal has, also, been promised by Mr H. Allen for the be3t back. The Secretary was instructed to to the Athletic Fourth-class t«am, in WVlingtou, and to try and arrange a match at Masterton, at Easter. A vote of thanks to the chair and Mr J. Cress, for the use of the room, terminated the meeting.

At a meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union to-cigbt, Mr Dixon, manager of the New Zealand team -which visited Great Britain, pre-, sented his report on the tour. The statement of finances gave an approximate estimate of the receipts over expenditure of £9,500. The report spoke in the highest terms of the men on and off the Held. The committee decided to at onoe repay the Rugby Unions and other donors the amounts by way of debentures or guarantee for the tour plus 5 per cent, interest.
