AN INTERESTING DECISION. Received March 13. 10.17 a.m. MELBOURNE, March 3. Th 9 High Court has been called upon to give a decision of interest to trades unionists. Non-unior/istß. obtained a verdiot against a Queensland union for the deprivation of employment. The State Court found that the union conspired to deprive a man of work, although it acted under instruction of a general meeting, and awarded £IOO damages. The union appealed, but the High Court dismissed the appeal and held that it was bound to follow the Taff Vale decision. THE FLOODS IN QUEENSLAND. Received Maroh 2, 10.30 a.m. BRISBANE, Maroh 3. Owing to the floods the towns of Longbeaoh and Winton are surrounded by water. Supplies are running short.
