STOCK REPORT. I t Mr W. Kose reports as follows: During the past fortnight i have held the following sales:— February 27th, Weber—A large yarding of both sheep and cattle, the oattle predominating. Shorn lambs realised 7s lOd, rams (Linoolns) from 10s up to £2 15s. Oattle: 2 and 222y 2 year old steers £3 ss, 2yr old steers £2lss, fat oows £5. March 3rd, Dannevirke Horse Sale. —A yarding which exceeded the advertised uamber. Good sorts, whioh included trammers and heavy draughts, were eagerly sought. Out of an entry of 105 horses, I disposed of 69 under the hammer, at the following prices. -.--Heavy draughts £4O to £SB, trammers from £3O to £42, spring carters from £2B to £35, harness horses £lO up to £25, hacks £5 and upwards according to quality. March stb, Ormondville Stock Sale.—A good yarding, but business under the hammer was dull, but after the sale * practically every line was sold. March 9th, Dannevirke Stock Sale.—A heavy yarding of both cattle and sheep. Keenness under the hammer was not too prominent, but after the sale considerable business was done. 1 quote as follows; — Sheep: Lambs 4s 3d to 6s, 2-th wethers 14s lOd, fat ewes 14s lid, Romney rams £2 15s, others from 10s upwards. Oattle: 2)£yr to 3yr steers £!} 6a, fat bullocks £5 lis 6d, store bufllooks £4, fat oows (heavy weights) £5, (lighter) £3 15s to £4, yearlings 28s to 355, weaneis, practically no sale. Figs: Porkers 21s, weaners 10s to 14s 6d.
LONDON MARKETS. By Telegraph—Press Association/ Received March 12, 9 a.m. LONDON, March 11. Sheep," North Island, best brands, 4 3-16 d. Kiver Plate, light, 3 3-16 d; heavy, 3>£d; rest unaltered. Canterbury, lambs, 5 5-16 d; North Island, sd. Hemp—The market is dull. Jan-uary-March shipment sold at £32 ss. The mild weather has somewhat cheoked the demand for rabbit's. The supplies are small and prices are firm. ANTWERP WOOL SALES. Received Maroh 12, 9 a.m. f BRUSSELS, March 11. At the Antwerp wool sales there was a very large attendance of buyers. There was a good choice, esneoially merinos, whioh are from ten' to fifteen aentimfes above the January series, and orossbreds twenty centimes higher. Four thousand two hundred and fifty bales of La Plata were offered and 3,060 bales sold.
