HAWKE'S BAY v. WELLINGTON. AN EASY WIN FOR WELLINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 10. The cricket match, Hawke's Bay v. Wellington, ended to-day, in an easy win for the local eleven. With eight wickets down for 409 Wellington resumed play, the innings closing for 442. The additional scores were: Upham not out 26, Mahony run out 49. In their first innings the visitors only made 61 against the buwling of Tucker and Upham. The principal scorers were:—White 14, Hall 12. Tucker took seven wickets for 31, Upham three for 22. Following on the visitors again collapsed, Redgrave and Hales this time being the destructive elements. Hawke's Bay were all disposed of for 59, Luak 17 and Fenton 10 being the only two to reach double figures. Redgiave took five wickets foi 37 and Hales two for 17. Wellington thus won by an innings and 322. runs. MASTERTON A v. MASTERTON B. The above match was played on the Park Oval, on Saturday, and resulted in a win for the Masterton A team by 76 runs.
