EXTENSION OF BUSINESS), Received March 9, 10.7 p.m. SYDNEY,/March 9. At a special meeting of the members of the A.M.P. Sooiety held for the purpose of confirming and finally passing the alterations to tbe by-law relating to the extension of the business to England and South Africa, he proceedings were lively, the protesting section being strongly represented. The resolution confirming the alterations was declared carried by 156 votes to 51. A ballot was demanded and taken.
