A TOWNSHIP BELEAGURED.
CAPETOWN, February 23.
The rebel natives beleaguered the township of Ixopo, in Natal, for a week.
Five hundred persona of all agea took refuge in the gaol, where they nightly expected an attaok.
Colonel Mackenzie's field force arrived and relieved the place.
REINFORCEMENTS,
Received February 25, 4.51 p.m. CAPETOWN, February 24. A battery of field artillery, and a force of mounted rifles, and two companies of Durban Light Infantry, have been ordered to Stanger, Colonel Louohars commanding.
